This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was originally delivered to Astor Motor Visitor in Parkersburg, W Virginia in 1986. The car is finished in Betoken Red (568) over Palomino (274) leather, and power comes from a 5.five-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a brown soft tiptop, a torso-color removable hardtop, automatic climate command, cruise control, and a Becker stereo. Showing only 31,991 miles from new, this roadster remained in Due west Virginia from 1986 until 2009 and was caused by the current Pennsylvania possessor in 2010. Contempo service in 2020 includes replacement of the valve cover gaskets, coolant expansion tank, new engine mounts (left and correct), a restriction service, a new exhaust hanger, and new Michelin Defender tires. This R107 is now offered with a binder of service records since new, factory literature, promotional sales materials, a data card, a toolkit, hardtop stand, hardtop hoist, two keys with original leather primal sleeves, a make clean Carfax written report, and a clean Pennsylvania championship.
The exterior is finished in Signal Blood-red (568) with a brown soft top and a body-color removable hardtop. Boosted equipment includes front fog lights, an automated antenna, and anodized aluminum trim. The paint is believed to be completely original and a black and gilt pinstrip adorns the bodyline.
Factory 15″Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with new 205/65 Michelin Defender tires showing 2020 appointment codes. A full-sized spare wheel and tire are mounted in the trunk. A restriction fluid flush was performed in March 2020 when the tires were installed.
The interior features seats trimmed in Palomino leather (274) with matching carpets and door panels, while bulge wood accents the dashboard and heart console. A gear up of red and palomino CocoMats are installed and included with the auction. Equipment includes a leather-wrapped and airbag-equipped steering bike, automated climate control, and a Becker Grand Prix stereo. Two convertible meridian tools, top hoist, top stand, besides as a full OEM tool roll will exist included with the sale.
Instrumentation includes a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. The vi-digit odometer shows just under 32k miles, and mileage is verified through the binder of service records and documented ownership lineage. Additional auxilary guages include fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure level, and instant economy.
The v.5-liter M117 V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Maintenance since 2020 has included replacement of the following items: valve cover gaskets, coolant expansion tank, engine mounts (left and right), exhaust hanger, and Michelin Defender tires.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage as well every bit history in West Virginia, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania through its most recent entry in Baronial 2015.
